An eclectic mix starting with Hard House and Trance some 30 years ago with a guilty pleasure for disco, Motown and US garage. Playing at friends parties and then running nights in Reading called Juice, with twisted driving hard house complemented in a second room called High Rise Funk with more chilled disco and funky house. This turned into more nights in Watford and Uxbridge infused with house and garage. Under the alias of Mista G, you could see him on the indie band scene with his house mates, playing an Indie Disco at The Goodship, Water Rats (King’s Cross), Cafe De Paris and Fuel Bar (Covent garden) A young family took priority and a little break but now the twins and lad are all off to secondary school. The focus is now back on to music. Rewind – Day Disco has taken off with quarterly nights alongside guest slots with House Now Brown Cow, Sunday sessions and upcoming gigs with DanJam. And Chatto at the waterside to look forward to. If this wasn’t enough last month started a new music podcast (it’s just Notts music) with co-host Just Jules.
